What do we Mean by Partners in Harmony?
At The Elfenworks Foundation, our philosophy is to work in harmony with forward thinking non-profits towards measurable, sustainable change. Support for our partners* has included:
- Identifying issues of importance and empowering champions for change through targeted support.
- Fostering relationships between the organizations that we support, so they can serve as resources to one another.
- Analyzing and enhancing communications campaigns (or initial design / development) of: logos, branding, websites, and public information materials for supported groups (e.g., Stanford, UHCAN).
- Raising awareness and/or funds by sponsoring and/or coordinating unique special events or multimedia projects such as concerts, films, cds, student film festival prize (e.g., Campus MovieFest, Stanford Concert for Hope, Rejuve).
- Shining a light and raising awareness through In Harmony With Hope Awards (e.g., Partners In Health, Carter Center Mental Health Journalism Fellowship Program, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Bay Area All Stars).
- Targeting direct, restricted donations in innovative, results-oriented ways to further specific campaigns, with a bias towards lending support for effective, forward-thinking, creative programs (e.g., Carter Center).
- Supporting college debate series, chairs, lectureships, scholarships, and centers, when the trustees feel this will build leadership in or otherwise benefit specific areas of interest (e.g., Stanford, Mills, Saint Mary's).
